Rugged Audio Box

A-BOX started as a simple idea: build a portable speaker that felt more like a small piece of equipment than a fragile consumer device inspired by the Dutch brand Thodio.

The project was an opportunity to practice building something from the ground up, with a focus on making it feel solid and durable in hand.

Electronics

Internal wiring, power management decisions, and a small custom PCB to keep the final assembly cleaner.

It was an early but valuable exercise in making electronics physically robust, not just functional on a table.

Final Assembly

The final work was as much about finish and usability as durability: the project serves as a reminder of the process and valuable lessons learned up to this day.
